This workshop is for parents to help develop their understanding of how to support their autistic child or young person.

The ‘Autism and Your Rights: Making Sense of Education, Health and Social Care’ workshop will focus on three areas:

  1. Health. Access, understanding, rights
  2. Education. Learning without barriers
  3. Social Care. Support that fits real life

This workshop is part of a UWE Bristol project called ‘Different Minds, Equal Worth: A Case of Autism Independence’ and will be supported by university students from Bristol.

Refreshments will be provided.
