This workshop is for parents to help develop their understanding of how to support their autistic child or young person.

The ‘Understanding Autism’ workshop will focus on three areas:

  1. Communication: see the world through your child’s eyes
  2. How behaviour is a form of communication
  3. Understanding sensory needs

This workshop is part of a UWE Bristol project called ‘Different Minds, Equal Worth: A Case of Autism Independence’ and will be supported by university students from Bristol.

Refreshments will be provided.
