Project Manager (Roadmap to Independence Project)

Fixed term: April 2026 – April 2030
£18,720 per year (£18/hour) | 20 hours per week (equivalent of £35,100 FTE)

We’re excited to recruit a Project Manager to lead our new Bristol Impact Fund project supporting autistic young people aged 16–25. In this role, you’ll make sure the project runs smoothly, meets its goals, and delivers high‑quality, culturally competent support.

You’ll oversee the Social Navigator, build strong relationships with families and partners, and help shape a service that improves young people’s confidence, wellbeing and independence. There will also be moments where you offer light direct support during busy periods or complex cases.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Has experience working with autistic young people
  • Understands post‑16 transitions and local Bristol services
  • Is confident managing staff, delivering projects and working across agencies
  • Communicates clearly and works well under pressure
  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for communities often underrepresented in services

Social Navigator (Roadmap to Independence Project)

Fixed term: April 2026 – April 2030
£13,218.40 per year (£12.71/hour) | 20 hours per week (equivalent of £24,791.50 FTE)

We’re looking for a warm, organised and community‑minded Social Navigator to join our team. This role supports autistic young people aged 16–25 from ethnically diverse communities as they move into adulthood.

You’ll build trusted relationships with young people and their families, helping them grow in confidence, explore education or work options, and access the right support. You’ll also work closely with local schools, colleges, health teams and community partners.

This role is perfect for someone who:

  • Enjoys supporting young people to achieve their goals
  • Understands the experiences of ethnically diverse communities
  • Can speak Somali (this is essential for the communities we support)
  • Is a great communicator and relationship‑builder
  • Is organised, patient and committed to inclusion

You’ll receive training, supervision and flexible working.
